_____________________________________________________________________________________________

I am an animation director with 20 years of experience as a director
of commercials and entertainment projects, including three seasons of The PJs,
the Emmy winning prime-time half-hour show starring Eddie Murphy for Fox and WB Television.

I started out with Will Vinton Productions in 1987, and am now working in the
same building, with many of the same people, but now the company is called LAIKA

Laika still maintains a world-class commercial division, but now has two feature films in full production:
"Coraline", stop-motion, from the book by Neil Gaiman and directed by Henry Selick and "Jack & Ben,"
a film about two migrating birds, in CG.

I also have a friend named Wuchan in Seoul, Korea, who makes
the best steel ball-and-socket armatures to be found
anywhere in the world to my knowledge. His website is: www.clay-mate.com

Me interesa mucho continuar aprendiendo.

Atentamente, John Logue

Here is a link to a piece from Will Vinton's "Claymation Christmas Celebration" from 1987. Quasimaestro, the conductor directing the Bell Choir, was the first piece of animation I ever did. I was the art director on the show, and did the reference film for Quasi and then animated all the frontal shots of the character.
